CHELSEA captain John Terry will get the chance to let his football make headlines when the Barclays Premier League leaders travel to Hull tonight.

Terry, 29, has found himself in the media spotlight following revelations about his private life involving an alleged affair with the ex-partner of Wayne Bridge, the former Chelsea defender who is now at Manchester City.

Terry’s ability on the pitch has, though, never been called into question.

The Blues skipper showed no signs of letting the saga impact on his game as he headed in the winning goal against Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday, even if his celebration was subdued.

Chelsea head to the KC Stadium for tonight’s rearranged fixture seeking to extend their lead over Manchester United, who beat third-placed Arsenal on Sunday, back up to four points.

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has revealed full-back Ashley Cole was a doubt for the Hull match, but confirmed his intention to deploy Didier Drogba in attack.

“It will be a similar team to against Burnley, Didier will play from the beginning, and also Deco and Ricardo Carvalho had recovery time against Burnley and will play from the start,” Ancelotti said.

“Ashley Cole we don’t know, we will take a decision tomorrow because he had a problem on his ankle and we have to wait.”

Ancelotti maintains Chelsea will just be focused on getting all three points tonight, rather than having one eye on Sunday’s clash with Arsenal.

“The Arsenal game is some days away, we want to prepare every game like a final because every game is very important,’’ he said.

“We have time after to think about the next game against Arsenal. We have to stay focused against Hull because if we are not, we can have a problem.”
