Mowbray: Bhoys won’t break bank to sign Keane

CELTIC boss Tony Mowbray yesterday ruled out a move for Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane, insisting the club’s wage structure could not accommodate the Tottenham striker.

The SPL giants have been linked with a loan move for the striker, who has found himself out of Tottenham’s first-team picture of late.

It had been thought that Celtic fan Keane could be interested in a move to Parkhead but Mowbray does not think the Bhoys could afford him.
