Confident Hughes not keen to splash the City cash

MANCHESTER CITY manager Mark Hughes is of a mind to make only minimal adjustments to his squad in the January transfer window.

Hughes remains content with his business in the summer when international players Emmanuel Adebayor, Carlos Tevez, Kolo Toure, Joleon Lescott, Gareth Barry and Roque Santa Cruz were all drafted in.

After attending a City board meeting in Abu Dhabi this week, Hughes emphasised that the days of wholesale changes were over.
