Spurs set to face Doncaster

TOTTENHAM will begin their quest for a third successive appearance in the Carling Cup final with a second-round tie at Doncaster.

Port Vale have been rewarded for their first-round win over Sheffield United with a tie against Steel City rivals Wednesday, while Manchester City open up their account away at Crystal Palace.
