O’Shea happy with United contribution

JOHN O’SHEA insists he would never stay at Manchester United purely for the medals.

The popular Republic of Ireland defender has been guaranteed his place in Alex Ferguson’s starting line-up to tackle Barcelona in next Wednesday’s Champions League final.

It follows O’Shea’s most consistent season for the Old Trafford outfit which, as usual, has involved him filling a variety of roles.
