MANCHESTER CITY goalkeeper Shay Given believes the team owe it to the supporters to give a performance against FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Cup tonight (7.05pm, live on BBC3).

City arrive in Denmark for this first leg match in the last round of 32 on the back of a 2-0 Premier League defeat by Portsmouth at Fratton Park at the weekend.

It was another dismal performance on the road by City and does not bode well for their return to European action.
