Keane exit a sad day for the game, says Wigan boss

WIGAN manager Steve Bruce believes Roy Keane’s departure from Sunderland is a sad day for the game in general.

Bruce has remained in touch with his former Manchester United team-mate since their days together at Old Trafford and was taken by surprise by the news.

He said Keane was never one to avoid confrontation and had indicated he was enjoying the challenge of the Premiership.
