Drogba quiet on Inter ‘meeting’

CHELSEA striker Didier Drogba has refused to comment about his alleged secret meeting with Inter Milan sporting director Marco Branca on Monday night.

Chelsea were unable to confirm whether the striker had met Branca and Inter boss Jose Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes in a Fulham

“I don’t have anything to say,” Drogba said yesterday.

“I have always said I have a contract with Chelsea until 2010, no comment about the supposed meeting.”

Meanwhile, Inter president Massimo Moratti has revealed he was unaware of any meeting taking place between Drogba and club representatives, and revealed the club are not looking to strengthen their forward line.

“I believe the desire is more the player’s than anything else,” Moratti said.

“We don’t need any strikers.”
