Essien slams Arsenal approach

MICHAEL ESSIEN has attacked Arsenal by claiming they are all style and no substance.

The Gunners have not won a trophy since the FA Cup in 2005 and manager Arsene Wenger had been criticised following some poor results before Saturday’s 2-1 win over Manchester United.

In contrast, Chelsea sit top of the Premier League and have been praised for their fluent style under new manager Luiz Felipe Scolari.
