No crisis, but Gunners still need a service

ARSENE WENGER had christened Lionel Messi “a Ferrari” last week, so it was probably inevitable that he was asked to draw a similar motoring metaphor for his own hot-rod, Theo Walcott, on Saturday.

“I don’t want to make an advert for any car but he’s certainly a turbo,” came the caustic response.

Walcott was purring again on Saturday, his performance providing Arsenal with a few revs just when they were starting to sputter, but it is clear that the rest of his teammates need considerably more fine-tuning.
