BLACKBURN chairman John Williams believes the club will be in a position to name their new manager by the weekend.

Half-a-dozen candidates have been interviewed by Rovers for the position to succeed Mark Hughes at Ewood Park.

Paul Ince, Sam Allardyce and Steve McClaren are among the contenders and the former England manager reportedly had his interview yesterday.
