Henderson hoping for change of luck as Ramblers host Bohs

COBH Ramblers will be seeking their second home win of the season when they host Bohemians at St Colman’s Park in the eircom Premier Division this evening (7.45pm).

“Our home record continues to grow,” says Cobh boss Stephen Henderson, “and losing that record to my former local team is not an option, no matter what resources Bohs have.

“Make no mistake about it, we are a very good side and I know I am repeating myself but the results are not a true reflection of how we have played this year. We truly have had no luck this season and I genuinely feel our luck is about to change.”

Ramblers will be without the injured Brian McCarthy and Alan Carey, while Graham Cummins and Shane Barrett are suspended.

Bohs boss Pat Fenlon is not underestimating Cobh’s strength at home.

“We know we are in for a real test,” he says. “They are a physically strong side but they have not sacrificed skill for power. I think Stephen Henderson has worked wonders down there.”

Bohs travel south without any injury or suspension worries, aside from long-term absentees Kevin Hunt and Thomas Heary.
