Black Cats chief hints at Miller U-turn

ROY KEANE has thrown transfer-listed midfielder Liam Miller a lifeline.

Sunderland manager Keane yesterday admitted that the Republic of Ireland international — transfer listed last week for being late for training several times — could return to the squad for tomorrow’s home game with Everton.

Keane said: “Liam might be back. He’s shown a good attitude and that’s the reaction you expect from a good professional.
