SOCCER legend Diego Maradona has called in police over the alleged theft of hundreds of football medals and memorabilia.

The Argentine claims 600 keepsakes have gone missing including the Golden Ball he won as 1986 World Cup player of the tournament and a diamond belt Pele gifted him at his testimonial.

Maradona, 47, is pointing the finger at a businessman he loaned the collection to for a travelling museum.
