Wenger: Becks set to train with Gunners

DAVID Beckham is set to train with Arsenal during LA Galaxy’s close season. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger revealed there’s “a good chance” the ex-England captain will train with the club to maintain his fitness.

“We’ll help him get fit and prepare for the season. There’s a good chance he’ll come in January, but it’s not decided,” Wenger said.

Wenger dismissed suggestions Beckham could feature in the new year. “He comes (only) to keep fit and work hard,” Wenger said.
