“I rang Johnny yesterday and said after certain consideration, I’m really flattered and decided not to be considered,” Jewell said.

“John Delaney the chief executive (of the FAI) called me last night and I discussed it with him, but I’m beginning to miss the day-to-day involvement with the players on the training ground. That’s what I’m looking for now, maybe in the future you never know.
