Four-star Limerick stun shell-shocked Dundalk
Strikes after the interval from two-goal Darren Harrington, John Tierney and Pat Purcell ensured the 37s cruised to their most impressive eircom League First Division victory of the season.
Harrington opened the scoring two minutes after the break and the Blues doubled their advantage just after the hour mark via a low Tierney free kick.
Harrington then added his second of the night on 64 minutes following good work from Kevin Waters and Purcell glanced home a fourth from a Ross Cosgrave free kick in the 72nd minute.
Robbie Doyle pulled a consolation for the visitors with a well-struck free kick from the edge of the box 10 minutes from time.
Robbie Kelleher almost added to the Lilywhites blushes late on but his low drive flashed inches wide of the post following an excellent move from midfield.
