Da Silva: joining Arsenal is ‘an honour’

NEW Arsenal striker Eduardo da Silva has every intention of helping fire the Gunners back into the Barclays Premier League title race.

The Brazilian-born Croatian has, pending the receipt of a work permit, agreed a four-year deal after leaving Dinamo Zagreb.

Details of the transfer fee have not been disclosed but Arsenal are understood to have paid in the region of £7.5million for the 24-year-old.
