Chelsea’s Cole vows to make a ‘bigger impact in the big games’

ENGLAND midfielder Joe Cole finally returned to first team football after an eight-month injury nightmare and insisted this could turn out to be his best season ever.

Cole has been sidelined with knee and foot injuries this term. He returned to action as a second-half substitute against Valencia in their Champions League draw at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

With Chelsea chasing success in the Premiership, FA Cup and the Champions League, the midfielder could not have timed his return much better.
