King frustrated as foot injury persists

TOTTENHAM captain Ledley King has suffered further complications in his return from injury and requires another scan on his bruised foot before the Carling Cup clash against Arsenal.

The 26-year-old was earmarked for the second leg of the semi-final on this Wednesday, at the Emirates Stadium, but will have a scan today on the same foot which caused him to miss the final part of last season.

“It’s been frustrating,” admitted King.
