Mourinho welcomes Kenyon’s show of support
Mourinho’s Chelsea future has been the subject of intense speculation amid suggestions of tension between him and Blues owner Roman Abramovich over the manager’s handling of £30.8m signing Andriy Shevchenko and the club’s lack of activity in the January transfer window.
However, the Portuguese welcomed a show of support from chief executive Peter Kenyon at a House of Commons launch yesterday and pledged to remain at the club if they offered him “real support and complete respect”.
