NIB’s €1.5m FAI sponsorship deal

NATIONAL Irish Bank has announced a three-year sponsorship deal with the FAI worth €1.5m which will see the bank become a title sponsor and the official banking partner to the association.

The sponsorship package includes title sponsorship of the Schoolboy FAI National Cups, of the Summer Soccer Camps and a key element of the package is the inclusion of the children’s football training programme to be called “The National Irish Bank FAI Summer Soccer Schools.”

The schools, held during July and August, are attended by over 15,000 children aged seven to 15 in 200 venues nationwide. The deal runs until the end of 2009.
