Klose call

WERDER BREMEN have conceded they may have to cash in on star striker Miroslav Klose at the end of the season.

Klose’s contract expires in 2008, but Bremen would rather receive a fee for the German international in the summer of 2007 than see him walk away on a free transfer 12 months later.

Bremen Sporting Director Klaus Allofs admitted: “If he expresses a wish (to go) we will deal with any enquiries. But we’ll do everything to convince him to stay.”
