Irish boss joins the Mick 'n' Roy show

FOR one night only — it’s the Saipan Four reunion.

Republic of Ireland manager Steve Staunton will be in attendance at Molineux tomorrow night for the meeting of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sunderland in the Coca Cola Championship.

The game will see rival managers Mick McCarthy and Roy Keane come face to face for the first time since their explosive falling-out in Saipan before the 2002 World Cup finals.

The two men have already made their peace over the phone and are expected to seal the new era with a handshake on the touchline before kick-off.

With Sunderland chairman Niall Quinn also on hand, Staunton’s decision to take in the game means that four of the key personalities from Saipan will be in Wolves’ home ground for the televised game.
