Marseille admit Gunners target Ribery ‘has a price’
Anigo has confirmed the Barclays Premiership club approached Marseille and held talks in the summer, though no transfer was agreed.
Fresh speculation has suggested Ribery will move to England in January but Anigo has reiterated a price has not been set.
“I must make this clear,” he told the club’s website om.net. “There is no agreement with Arsenal nor with any other European club.
“Arsenal came to discuss the situation with Pape [Diouf, Marseille president] and Arsene Wenger spoke to him.
“It must be said that Franck is very wanted and he has a price. But our objective is to claim a place in the Champions League and we must keep our best players.”
