Sanchez pledges allegiance to North as Danes lie in wait

MANAGER Lawrie Sanchez has reiterated his commitment to Northern Ireland.

Sanchez hosted his first media conference yesterday in Copenhagen following the shock victory against Spain last month. He refused all requests for interviews after the Euro 2008 qualifying group F success as he was stung by criticism of their defeat by Iceland in the previous game.

Speculation continued to mount that it was his last match in charge.
