Pompey are the shock Premiership leaders after five games, four wins and no goals conceded. But manager Redknapp insists nobody should be getting carried away with dreams of the Champions League, UEFA Cup or even a top-10 finish at this stage.

That might not be the most welcome news for new owner Sacha Gaydamak, but Redknapp was disturbed by hearing some of his players talking up their chances of glory after Saturday’s 1-0 win at struggling Charlton.
