Boa Morte out for six weeks

FULHAM have confirmed Luis Boa Morte will be sidelined for six weeks with a fractured cheekbone.

Boa Morte sustained the injury during a clash of heads with team-mate Heidar Helguson in Sunday’s goalless draw at Spurs.

Fulham boss Chris Coleman had hoped the Portuguese winger would be able to play wearing a mask but the severity of the damage has prevented an early return.

The news is the latest injury blow to Coleman who has a raft of players in the treatment room just five games into the season.
