Becks: no Premier plans

DAVID BECKHAM has ruled out a return to English football because he could not face lining up against Manchester United in the Premiership.

Beckham, 31, who gave up the England captaincy after the World Cup and has been dropped from the squad still hopes to play for his country again.

But the Real Madrid midfielder, in the past linked with Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle, cannot see himself joining one of United’s Premiership rivals.
