ON-LOAN Arsenal midfielder Sebastian Larsson was Birmingham’s goal hero for the second time in four days as Steve Bruce’s side clinched a place in the second round of the Carling Cup.

Larsson had netted an injury-time winner in Saturday’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace wich moved Blues to the top of the Coca-Cola Championship.

And the Swede again came up trumps against gallant Shrewsbury with just seven minutes remaining after latching onto a pass from Nicklas Bendtner.
