Villa incident sorted, says Sorensen

ASTON VILLA goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen revealed that some of the players met with club directors yesterday as part of the investigation into apparent unrest at Villa Park.

A statement released on Friday, supposedly from the first team squad, criticised chairman Doug Ellis and the club’s spending policy.

That prompted Ellis to set up a three-man inquiry panel charged with getting to the bottom of the issue.
