Ronaldo out for a month

REAL MADRID striker Ronaldo will be out of action for a month after an operation on his left shin in Rio.

The 29-year-old was accompanied by doctors from both his club and country after reports that Real were unhappy with the decision.

Brazilian national team doctor Jose Luiz Runco said: “He could start to train with the ball in four weeks.”
