Blackburn sign Roberts from Wigan in four-year deal

BLACKBURN have signed striker Jason Roberts from Wigan on a four-year deal.

The 28-year-old scored 14 goals last season despite the loss of strike partner Nathan Ellington who was sold to West Brom.

Roberts revealed he was likely to leave the JJB Stadium at the start of June when he insisted he had rejected a contract offer stating his treatment had been “disrespectful” and he was linked with a move to Turkey with Besiktas.
