JOHN DELANEY has insisted that the redevelopment of Lansdowne Road is on-time, following a weekend report that a request for further information (RFI) had been placed by the Dublin City Council.

The RFI is common procedure in modern planning applications although it is thought that some members of the DCC, by endeavouring to place No.70 Lansdowne Road on the register of Protected Structures, will slow the process.

No.70 is to be demolished under the current plans, and the Lansdowne Road Development committee have responded to the RFI.
