Jamaica throw King out
According to Jamaican Football Federation president Crenston Boxhill, 26-year-old King was “rude and unapologetic” after breaking a squad curfew ahead of the friendly at Old Trafford.
Charlton’s Jason Euell and Southend’s Jamal Campbell-Ryce were also told they would be banished from the squad, however they appealed and have been allowed to stay on.
No further details of King’s indiscretion have been revealed. He has been replaced in Jamaica’s squad by Sheffield Wednesday striker Deon Burton.
