Hughes quiet on Bellamy clause

BLACKBURN manager Mark Hughes is refusing to acknowledge whether striker Craig Bellamy has a £6m escape clause in his contract.

However, despite apparent interest from Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Spurs, Bellamy appears happy at Ewood Park.

“Craig signed a four-year deal, and that’s the situation. We fully expect him to stay here for the four years,” said Hughes.
