Chelsea agree €20m fee for Ferreira

CHELSEA have finalised a fee of €20m for Porto full-back Paulo Ferreira and will soon open discussions with the player over personal terms.

Ferreira is part of Portugal's squad for Euro 2004 but was dropped after their defeat in the tournament's opening match against Greece.

The 25-year-old played a key part in Porto's Champions League success last season and their UEFA Cup victory the year before that, both under Jose Mourinho's command.
