Marseille want Marlet on loan from Fulham

MARSEILLE coach Alain Perrin has confirmed his interest in Fulham striker Steve Marlet, who could join the French club on a one-year loan deal before the close of the transfer window on August 31.

The 29-year-old French international started his third Premier League season withthe Cottagers when theydefeated Middlesbrough 3-2 on Saturday.

But he could soon move back to France and join Perrin's high-flying outfit, who are looking set to play in the Champions League after defeating Austria Vienna 1-0 in their first leg qualifier which is the attraction for Marlet.
