Harry seeks personal hearing

SOUTHAMPTON boss Harry Redknapp will ask for a personal hearing after being hit with a FA charge following his dismissal at Derby.

Redknapp has been charged with using abusive and/or insulting words towards an official after he protested against referee Nigel Miller’s decision to allow Inigo Idiakez to retake a penalty.

“At no time did I use abusive language. The referee came over and told me I was spoiling the fourth official’s afternoon by jumping up and down all the time.

“So I said to him ‘I’ve got news for you, you’re spoiling mine’, and that was it,” Redknapp said.
