Vieira urges Cole and Reyes to stay

PATRICK VIEIRA last night implored Ashley Cole and Jose Antonio Reyes to stay at Arsenal next season.

Vieira - who backed out of a move to Real Madrid last summer - revealed that he has talked to the England defender to try to persuade him to remain at Highbury.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already expressed concerns that Cole’s agent may urge him to leave the club, while Reyes has been linked with a return to Spain after suffering from homesickness.
