United reputations at stake

GARY NEVILLE insists all Manchester United players should be “fearing for their places” after the shock 2-0 defeat at Premiership strugglers Norwich.

United reputations at stake

“We all have to take a good look at ourselves. If any player is not doing that, something is wrong,” Neville maintained.

“Next Sunday we play Newcastle in the FA Cup semi-final in a massive match for this club. It is massive for us as players.

“We have to perform - not just next Sunday, but in the next six league games as well. We need to play well in every match.

“Our reputations are at stake and we have a responsibility to Manchester United in terms of putting on a performance.

“We have to win football matches, if we don’t we have a manager who will do something about it.”

Neville added: “We should be fearing for our places.

“Our performance levels over the last few weeks have not been good enough.”
