Long set for Ireland debut

CORK CITY'S Shane Long is set to make his full debut for Ireland as Sean McCaffrey's under-19s strive to get their UEFA qualifying challenge back on track against Albania here in Serbia this afternoon.

Long, from Gortnahoe in Tipperary, is likely to be one of up to six changes in boss McCaffrey's side following Monday's tame 1-0 loss to Poland.

McCaffrey reverts to a 4-4-2 formation with Terry Masterson likely to replace Darren Randolph in goal.

Bolton Wanderers midfielder Joey O'Brien and key central defender Paul McShane of Manchester United, return following suspension to add backbone to the side. e McCaffrey is also likely to change his full-backs with Darren Gibson in on the right and James Hand on the opposite flank.
