O’Shea set for massive United pay deal

JOHN O’SHEA’S exceptional form for Manchester United this season is set to be recognised by the club with a new pay deal this summer.

Republic of Ireland international O’Shea, 22, has three years to run on his present deal but United, in a bid to make sure the talented defender is not lured away from Old Trafford, are ready to move him up their internal pay scale.

In March 2002, O’Shea signed a new four-year deal having made just eight senior appearances.
