Zidane: 'I'm not back as a saviour'

FRENCH soccer great Zinedine Zidane says he doesn't want to be dubbed a "saviour" after deciding to make his international comeback.

The Real Madrid playmaker, who earned 93 caps, said he had found his motivation again. His announcement on Wednesday raised hopes at home that France can turn around a flagging World Cup qualifying campaign.

"I have found again the motivation I might have lost a while ago," he said.
