FORMER Manchester United misfit Diego Forlan scored twice for Villarreal on Sunday night to end the season as the Primera Liga’s top goalscorer.

The Uruguay striker's double against Levante came a week after a hat-trick against Barcelona and took his tally for the campaign to a club record 25.

The 26-year-old can now look forward to a crack at the Champions League after his contribution helped secure a place in the qualifying rounds.
