Rooney turns corner for FAI

THE tide has turned for the FAI if the experiences of the past couple of weeks reflect a trend.

The Association is on the move on several fronts with the fast-approaching match against Brazil representing the latest in a consistent series of triumphs for new chief executive, Fran Rooney.

He is less than 12 months in office and already he has cleared some substantial hurdles in his stated task of rejuvenating the FAI and hoisting the development of Irish football into the fast lane.
