Frisk claims Chelsea violated his integrity

ANDERS FRISK believes Chelsea “violated his integrity” during last season’s controversial Champions League clash with Barcelona.

Frisk sent Didier Drogba off in the first leg and was also accused of meeting Barca boss Frank Rijkaard in the referee’s room at half-time in the Nou Camp.

Mourinho was banned for two games over the affair and he and Chelsea were fined for bringing the game into disrepute, while Frisk quit the game after receiving death threats.

Of the person who sent him threats through the post, Frisk said: “I still think he violated my integrity by this and officials from the Chelsea team did.”

Chelsea went on to win the second leg last season, but have been criticised following the recent clash against Barca when referee Terje Hauge received threats on a fans’ forums.

In an ITV1 documentary, The Truth About Referees, Frisk recalled the events after the first leg in Barcelona last season which led to his retirement.
