RYAN GIGGS reckons he can have the last laugh on his critics with a barnstorming end to arguably the most erratic season of his life.

The winger, who has suffered more abuse and criticism than at any time in his career, can see a silver lining of a Barclaycard Premiership and Champions League double plus international glory with Wales.

Giggs, currently in Cardiff preparing for Wales’ Euro 2004 double-header against Azerbaijan and Serbia and Montenegro, has stepped away from an enthralling title contest and the prospect of a Champions League quarter-final with Real Madrid.
