Reds’ target Cisse likely to remain at Auxerre

LIVERPOOL target Djibril Cisse has admitted that it is highly likely he will remain at French Cup winners Auxerre next season.

The 21-year-old striker has been consistently linked with a move to Anfield and is reported to be Reds boss Gerard Houllier’s number one summer transfer target.

But Cisse, who has attracted the attention of a number of high profile clubs throughout Europe, believes that his current club will continue to block any approaches Houllier makes to bring him to the Barclaycard Premiership.
