Coleman angry over Diop injury

FULHAM manager Chris Coleman yesterday vented his frustration over international friendly demands after Papa Bouba Diop returned from Senegal’s midweek win over Norway with a swollen foot and is doubtful for tomorrow’s Premiership clash with Arsenal at Craven Cottage.

Coleman is definitely without Wayne Bridge, the left-back on loan from Chelsea, who suffered ankle ligament damage in England’s 2-1 win over Uruguay on Wednesday.

But his annoyance was targeted directly at the fact that Bouba Diop had to return to Senegal to play the last 20 minutes as a substitute in his country’s 2-1 victory, only a week after returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty.
